Abstract :
Reflectarray antennas with different feeding configurations are studied in this paper. A new multi-feeding reflectarray structure aiming at antenna profile reduction is designed and compared with the conventional single-feed reflectarray antenna. The effects of the focus length to diameter of the antenna on the performance of both the multi-feeding and single-feeding reflectarray antennas are investigated. As an example, a ring-patch reflectarray element configuration, which provides a wide range of reflection phase variation, is designed and analyzed. Furthermore, numerical results of Reflectarray antennas at Ka band are given, and explanations for physical insight are presented.
