Abstract :
The classic MUSIC algorithm is well known for its high resolution capability. Based on the investigation to it, this paper presents an improvement method of the MUSIC algorithm which can perform better in the presence of correlated or coherent sources and small snapshot as well as low SNR. A new function is also presented for the information of source signal´s power estimation. Simulation results have shown that the proposed algorithm is able to provide significant performance improvement over the conventional MUSIC algorithm in the condition of coherent sources and small snapshot as well as low SNR.
