Abstract
Many multiple access methods have been developed to allow the user terminals to access the satellite and communicate with it. These access methods in addition to the satellite and ground users can be considered as a Markov/queuing process or a birth and death process. The birth and death rate are the number of user terminals arriving in queue and being serviced per time, respectively. The death rate can be influenced but the birth rate cannot. In this paper queuing theory has been employed to increase the number of users being serviced.
