Abstract
In this paper we explore Chaikin´s algorithm for generation of arbitrary curves to reconstruct non-uniformly sampled signals. The sampling is adapted to the signal shape. For the sampling rate estimation the discrete Haar wavelet transform is used. The results of reconstruction are presented graphically and compared with those obtained by reconstruction based on multiresolution.
