Abstract
Different types of services have different characteristics in the aspects of importance, bandwidth demand, time-sensitive and so on. User service requirements on the abilities of controllability and manageability of network become higher and higher. The research on transmission control is an important part of manageable and controllable network study. A kind of transmission control technology based on MPLS network is studied in this paper, which supports creating and releasing the connection of MPLS LSP or MPLS TE dynamically, uses service-priority policy, bandwidth policy and degradation policy for policy decision, and uses PCMMA (Policy-Condition Maximum Matching Algorithm) for servicepriority policy. The principle of the transmission control technology based on MPLS network is explained. At last an experimental is made. The experiment results show that transmission control technology is feasible, effective and efficient. The QoS of network and the utilization rate of network resource are improved.
