  • Abstract
    Recent progresses in photonic crystals, which are novel nanostructures for light, are explained. Spontaneous emission control by 3D photonic crystals, novel 2D photonic crystal laser, and ultrasmall photonic device based on in-plane hetero photonic crystals are explained.
