Abstract :
Content-based search of images followed by pixel-based search from databases is considered. The pixel-based search is performed using Stone´s method of progressive wavelet correlation. The interface between the Matlab workspace and the database is described. The Oracle Database and the IBM QBIC are used for investigation purposes.
