Abstract
Two-layer PCBs, though cheap in cost, are unsuitable for high-speed differential signals as impedance matching becomes difficult. A dual-CPW structure for low-cost PCBs is proposed in the paper. Test results indicate that this structure can be implemented and applied for industrial use. And more than 50% of the cost is saved. By applying the structure, ASUS may gain an extra profit of one million USD each year once fully validated.
