Abstract :
In order to determine reasonable height limit of gravity center of loaded wagon, the statics relation formulas of height of gravity center of loaded wagon were established based on vertical dynamic load coefficient. The relationship between the height of gravity center of loaded wagon and the vertical dynamic load coefficient was studied based on overturn-preventing by calculating the vertical inertia force, according to the forces acting on the wagon running on straight and curved lines. Heights of gravity centers of loaded wagons based on vertical dynamic load coefficient on specific loading conditions were calculated at last by taking C64k wagon for example. The results indicate that the wagon may be at bad running quality even it doesn´t overturning for a certain height of gravity center of loaded wagon. The height limit of gravity center of loaded wagon is 2.5622m for the safety keeping and good running quality.
