Abstract :
The compression processing of fingerprint image is of great importance in the computer fingerprint recognition system. Based on analyzing the frequent image compression methods, the author studies the image compression methods with multi-scale two-dimensional wavelet transform, and put forward a new fingerprint image compression evaluation method.
