  • Abstract
    We investigate integrated optical waveguide probes as an alternative to fiber-optic probes for the collection of backscattered light from weakly scattering media. On-chip integrated approaches for laser excitation and signal collection may lead to improved, low-cost devices for a broad range of applications.
