  • Abstract
A general and systematic formulation technique is proposed for the analysis of periodically switching networks containing resistors, inductors, capacitors, independent voltage sources, voltage-controlled voltage sources, and switches. As a result, both switched-capacitor networks and switched DC-DC converters can be handled by the proposed method. The resultant formulation is a novel type of modified nodal approach in which the number of circuit variables is effectively reduced and no zero-diagonal entries would, in general, appear in its matrix.<>
