  • Abstract
Animation is an inevitable product in the development of the human civilization. Since the computer graphics provides unlimited possibilities for the development of the animation industry and the researches into art forms. As one kind of the digital art, ´pixel art´ is an ´extreme´ expression form of the bitmap, while the Chinese folk art form, ´hand stitching article´, also known as ´Cross-stitched Flower Pattern´, mainly using the form of latitude and longitude coordinates to make a ´points´ collective creation. Thus it can be seen that ´pixel art´ has a very long history and a rather wide spread of range. This paper aims to reference the Chinese folk art form ´hand stitching article´, using the ´pixel art´ technology to explore the animation modeling performance, eventually to create a global animation modeling image that combines with modern artistic trends and reflects the folk characteristics.
