Abstract :
The Curriculum and Teaching Technique of a one-semester discipline on "Microwave Solid-State Circuits" for Electrical Engineering undergraduate students, are described. Special emphasis is given to the design techniques based on CAD programs. A CAD software package, mainly implemented by students is introduced. All students have to design a down-converter and mount and test one of its stages (amplifier, oscillator or mixer).
