Abstract

The computer science has been developing rapidly in 21st century; it also brings an innovatory design tool to the field of Industry Design. It is the Â¿Computer-Aided Industrial DesignÂ¿(CAID) system. The application of CAID system makes the industrial design standards have a qualitative change in design methodology, design flow, Design performance of the quality and efficiency of all aspects. CAID in the College of Industrial Design Teaching has gradually become a very important professional course. This paper discusses the Development Status and Problems in todayÂ¿s CAID teaching, and proposed the possible solutions and suggestions of CAID teaching and studying.
