  • Abstract
    At present, most of the wireless location systems based on Zigbee are depending on the high-cost CC2431 with location engine, to reduce the cost, a new location system is proposed in this paper. The location module is switch to a low-cost CC2430 without location engine, and according to RSSI ranging method, a triangular-weighted centroid location algorithm is used to achieve locates features in the software application. As the software application can flexibly change the location algorithms, this wireless location system greatly reduces the system cost and meets the needs of different location accuracy.
