Abstract

The next generation network and its supporting technologies towards the converged information network are the foundation of the information service industry. Associated with the developments of the broadband network and the progress in network convergence, there is an increasingly important trend of interactive service development upon the highly-converged next-generation network. This paper proposes simulation and production platform for interactive services for digital media applications, i.e. IPTV, video portals and podcasts, upon next-generation networks. We also developed an integrated interactive media service management platform that is extensible in both function and structure, thus realizing the manageability of scalable interconnected services within the environment of broadband interactive media.
