Abstract
Intensive investigations are continuing with the goal to improve the characteristics and to expand the successful applications of relativistic BWO (RBWO). The basic direction of modern investigations is use of overmoded RBWO resonators and searching of their surface geometry and different plasma filling in order to prevent microwave pulse shortening processes. The ground for such problem solution is developing with use of the effective 3D computer codes which permit researchers to carry out on personal computers the numerical simulations of complex electrodynamical systems, loaded by the high-current electron beam. In this paper the calculations are made by the MULTIWAVES-2000 computer code, based on the 3D linear theory of Cherenkov type devices.
