Abstract :
Creating end-to-end QoS in heterogeneous wireless-wired networks beyond 3G networks in which the access to the IP core network can be accomplished via different kinds of access networks with different technologies is essential for supporting real time application. In this paper we have defined new functionalities and interfaces in addition to some extension to the existing SIP signalling to resolve some of the existing problems existing in UMTS that don´t let end-to-end QoS control between different technologies and domains.
