Abstract :
A cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna which radiates like a magnetic quadrupole is reported. The antenna is fed using microstrip-slot coupling scheme. The feed makes the antenna compatible with MICs. Theoretical and experimental results on resonant frequencies, bandwidth and radiation pattern are presented.
