Abstract :
The construction scheduling of urban road projects is a typical multiple stage and multiple attribute decision making problem. To improve the availability of the urban road planning and construction, a model with multiple stage and multiple attribute is proposed, which is based on the DEA and TOPSIS. The DEA method is used to calculate each DMU´s relative efficiency, then the TOPSIS method is used to rank the relative efficiency, and the urban road construction sequence is obtained accordingly. In this model, the advantages of the DEA´s superiority of evaluating with multiple inputs and outputs indicators and the TOPSIS´s systematicness and comprehensiveness are utilized. And the shortcoming of the DEA´s failure to rank all projects is avoided, which provides a new approach to this problem. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
