Abstract :
Two power factor correction (PFC) control techniques are presented with their respective characters in the household electrical field. Based on these, a novel control strategy is proposed in this paper with related theory and simulation analysis. A 2000 watts prototype converter is implemented to show that the experimental results are in good agreement with our theoretical analysis.
