Abstract :
Magnetic nano-composites fibers were prepared by in-situ synthesis method. The loading degree of magnetic particles (Fe3O4) depends on Fe2+ concentration, amount of PEI, reaction temperature, aging time and stirring speed. The structure and properties of magnetic paper were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results indicated that the optimal reaction conditions were as follows: Fe2+ concentration 0.06 mol/L, the amount of PEI 2%, reaction temperature 60degC, aging time 60 min and stirring speed 1000 r/min. SEM micrograph shows that magnetic particles are in nanometer size and distribute uniformly on the surface of magnetic paper. XRD confirms that the magnetic particles are Fe3O4. VSM results show that the magnetic paper has super-paramagnetic behavior.
