  • Abstract
This paper describes a simple way to utilize C MEX S-function in MATLAB/SIMULINK for motor vector control modeling and simulation purposes. C MEX S-function is a powerful block in SIMULINK that is capable of describing a dynamic system written in C language and linked into MATLAB. Basically it is categorized into three minimum structures. It is possible to model and simulate a vector-controlled motor drive by only using a combination of these structures. A memory block is used for eliminating an algebraic loop to speed up the simulation. Simulation results are compared with experimental ones for validation.
