About the synthesis of the rolling surfaces profiles of the railway vehicles wheels
Abstract :
This paper presents a mathematical model for analysis and synthesis of the rolling profiles which are represented by the assembling of circle arcs. Concerning this problem is necessary to determine the contact points between the wheels and rails. For example we shall take into account the profile S-78 used at Romanian railway vehicles.
