Abstract
According to the theory and principle of mass rail transit network planning, six schemes are presented in Ningbo urban mass rail transit. Further more, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model is used to evaluate the decision in the urban mass transit network planning and the multilayer model of the factors is developed in this paper. As a result, the recommended scheme is obtained, that is scheme 3, in which the network of Ningbo urban rail transit is formed with six lines, among which there are three backbone and three auxiliary lines, and the total length is 247.5 km in the planning scheme.
