Abstract :
Traditional PRI sorting methods not only demand much more operations but also were difficult to sort Modulated and Jitter PRI Radar Signals in practice. As pulses from same emitter have much more inherent Similarity with each other than that from different emitters, pulse similarity was combined into PRI sorting methods, which brought on a new method of “Similarity Pulse Searching” in this paper. Such improved PRI method firstly calculate the PRI values of a given radar pulse stream, then search and extract the radar pulse signal according to the pulse similarity. Simulation results showed that the improved method not only functioned with more Accuracy while less operation than traditional methods, but also could sort modulated PRI and/or jittered PRI signals.
