  • Abstract
    Based on the constitutive relations between D and E, a set of improved frequency dependent finite-difference time-domain ((FD)2TD) formulations based on Z transform for anisotropic plasma are presented and derived. Then the equations are applied to computation of electromagnetic wave (EM-wave) propagation through a magnetized plasma slab, the reflection and transmission coefficients of which are given out. The comparison of numerical results with analytical values indicates that the algorithms are very accurate and efficient.
