Abstract :
There exists the problem of out-of-step for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) under U/f control mode, and closed-loop control of load-angle is an effective solution. Thus, the key problem is the accurate detection of load-angle. Based on the load-angle definition of IPMSM, an estimation method with no position sensor was proposed based on extended Kalman filter (EKF). The theoretical derivation was given and the load-angle controller was designed. Simulation results show that the method can effectively detect the load-angle of IPMSM and satisfy the requirements of load-angle controller with high precision and strong robustness.
