Abstract :
Precise tuning for very low frequency (VLF) multi-tuning antenna is very difficult in practice. After analyzing the basic theory and method of tuning, a new precise tuning method with no-anode voltage for VLF multi-tuning antenna is proposed in this paper. Through numeric calculation, the impedance characteristic of the VLF multi-tuning antenna in tuning process is researched too. Based on the result of calculating the impedance characteristic of antenna array, a new precise tuning method recurring to impedance measurement apparatus is discussed. The results of the experiments show that this new precise tuning method is more efficient and better for VLF multi-tuning antenna than traditional tuning method.
