Abstract :
The authors report the analysis of aperture-coupled and microstrip proximity-coupled dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs). The TLM numerical method was combined with a linear circuit simulator to determine the input impedance of DRAs for optimum feed dimensions. The numerical results agree well with experimental data.
