Abstract :
This report presents the progress achieved in the development and implementation of the PLC technology during the years 2003 and 2004. It presents the progress on the standardization work for products and for network standards. It also gives a general view about the deployment of PLC networks in Europe, in USA and also in some other parts of the world.
