Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of unreasonable hardware platform, difficult to extend functions as well as imperfect monitoring model in current drilling monitoring and alarming system, this paper presents an embedded controller for drilling engineering monitoring. The hardware of controller used ARM S3C2410 processor, and extended LCD, UART and Ethernet interface and so on. The operating system of controller adopted embedded Linux, the human-machine interface program was developed with Qt/E. Using “Signal & Slot” mechanism of Qt/E, the timer interrupt program and monitoring functions were achieved. Controller captures sensor data and issues control instructions through the UART, and communicates with a remote monitoring center through the Ethernet. In addition, the paper studied the modeling method of drilling accidents and implementation of automatic grouting function while lifting drill pipe.
