  • Abstract
    There have been increasing interests in algorithms for community discovery in networks. We begin by describing two traditional algorithms for community discovery - GN algorithm and WH algorithm. However, there are some disadvantages of these traditional algorithms in discovering communities in real-world networks. Subsequently, we present a new algorithm which is an improved version of WH algorithm. Finally, we conduct some experiments to verify the new algorithm¿s performances. Experimental results show that the new algorithm is effective in discovering communities in real-world networks.
