Abstract :
This article presents a package containing both a book concerning plane wave (TEM wave) in a metallic bounded medium and an interactive educational software. The purpose of this package is to enable the student to detect if a TEM wave can propagate in a waveguide, and to qualitatively predict the wave field features. This educational software corresponds to about three hours of self-training and requires an AT or XT personal computer with a hard disk, videocard and a mouse.
