Abstract :
The paper intends to develop optimized wireless radio receiver architecture capable of receiving data from multiple data stations. QAM and QPSK modulation schemes are used for data communication and the two methods are compared based on performance and number of hardware resources utilized. The work provides a solution to the issue of hardware resource replacement to adapt to the advancement in technology by using the concept of software defined radio. The architecture is validated by the simulation results obtained from the testbench codes using Verilog and Matlab.
