Abstract :
In this paper SPICE is used as a tool to model Maxwell´s equations in two dimensions. It is shown that the transmission-line equivalent of Maxwell´s equations is preferred over the lumped network. The combined fine-coarse cell arrangement may be used to reduce the total number of cells needed and thus improve efficiency
