Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel concept for a system of interactive distance learning, with the aim of promoting pupils´ creative thinking. The system, we call as the CCV (Computer, Communication and Visual) educational system is based on CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) and multimedia communication technology. We also discuss the results of the distance learning lessons which were conducted in some elementary schools in Japan, actually employing the proposed system
