  • Abstract
The basic idea of edge delay symbols for copy protection in optical discs and its feasibility test were performed in this work. The presented study showed possibility of edge-delayed symbols as one of promising methods for copy protection of digital contents. Edge-delayed symbols called fingerprint which are uncopyable symbols cannot be recorded by conventional CD-recorders and even by mastering equipment which do not have the ability of edge delay.
