Abstract :
This article discusses the application of fuzzy control to the operation of plural hydraulic jacks in an elastic-plastic structural test, performed to investigate the seismic behavior of building frames. The fuzzy controller reproduces the knowledge of a skilled operator, based on fuzzy reasoning methods. The fuzzy controller is proven to work as well as a skilled operator. It produces an automatic loading system in a structural test
