Abstract
Bandwidth between NoC routers is limited by large signal jitter of long adjacent interconnection lines. In this paper, based on interconnection payload model, according to varied signals, five cases of control signals are generated by encoding module to adjust the drive strength implemented by tri-state drive module. In all cases, the propagation delay of the signals is maintained stably, so the signal jitter is decreased effectively. Compared with buffer drive mode, the ratio of jitter to maximum propagation delay decreased from 34.1 percent to 4.5 percent.
