Abstract :
In this paper, the numerical simulation method is applied to investigate the control for a given chaotic system. In order to obtain a better understanding of the relationship between the Lyapunov exponents and evolution of chaos, a stable Duffing system is examined. By way of adding a pulsing perturbation of the resistance coefficient, the pulsing control method is applied to control the chaotic motion of Duffing system. This control method is equivalent to impulse control, so the pulse intensity, positive pulse duration, pulse period and other control parameters on the results of chaos control are discussed in detail.
