Abstract :
This paper describes the work done in the International Electrotechnical Commission Subcommittee SC 31-H in the production of international standards and reports for the selection, construction and testing, and installation of electrical apparatus for use in the presence of combustible dusts. It also describes the ancillary standards regarding the necessary tests to determine the characteristics of combustible dusts to enable the correct selection to be made
