Abstract :
Starting from the definition, this paper, has established the optimized computational model of carrying capacity of water resources. It elaborates the relation between the carrying capacity of water resources and available water capacity, water efficiency, welfare level, etc. Besides, concrete analyzing diagram and solution model is worked out. The results of the case study indicate that GDP water consumption and domestic water use efficiency must be improved to meet the economic and social development goals in the Beibu Gulf Economy Zone Guangxi. During 2005–2030, the annual water consumption 10 000 Yuan GDP decreases at an average rate of 7.2% and the per capita domestic water consumption decreases at a rate of 1.7%.
