A software model of NASA´s Shuttle Training Aircraft is used to model-follow a Boeing 747. A classical linear control system is used to perform the model-following. In addition a fuzzy optimizer is created which modifies the gains of a classical control system to enhance performance. The fuzzy optimizer uses the past performance of the control system as input and outputs chances to the gains
