Abstract :
Gives an introduction to a theory to evaluate uncertain aspects in complex and large scale simulation models. This theory is derived from probability theory and can be understood as an extension of the real (or complex) numbers. Furthermore, this theory is utilized in a simplistic wheel suspension model which is part of a complex vehicle dynamics simulation model. Throughout this example multi body systems theory is used for modelling, albeit there is no explicit introduction into this method given.
