Abstract :
The tree image mosaicing, the mosaicing seam processing and the segmentation of the mosaiced tree image were studied for expanding the field-of-view in precision pesticide target-oriented-spraying technique based on machine vision. A single group of tree images were acquired through binocular machine vision system. Tree images were mosaiced by pixel overlay of overlapping regions. The mosaicing seam of the mosaiced tree image was processed by weight gradient method of the corresponding pixel row. The mosaiced tree image was segmented by way of limiting the range of Hue. And to make binarization processing, some non-target isolated points of the tree image were removed by corrosion and expansion of the image. Finally, a target mosaiced tree image was completely segmented from the background.
