Abstract
Slot antennas in microwave frequencies are widely used in airborne vehicles because they are lightweight, conformal, and relatively easy and inexpensive to fabricate. Thus, numerous literature exists on their operation analysis and design. Although many papers are available in the subject of slot antenna analysis in the frequency domain, only few papers have discussed time domain characteristics of this type of antenna. In this paper, the method of moment in the time domain is used for computation of the input impedance, radar cross section (RCS) and validation properties of slot antennas.
