Abstract
In this paper, a new control strategy is designed for an electric sanitation vehicle (ESV). The controller takes the signals of acceleration pedal, brake pedal, steering wheel and driving mode as inputs and aims to maximize acceleration and steering performance. The paper discusses the design of the controller and presents experimental results, which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
