Abstract :
The development of LTE technology proposes new requirements on terminals, base stations and other key equipments. The physical layer of uplink and downlink chose the excellent Turbo code to reduce the error rate and improve system performance. In the course of the specific hardware implementation, Turbo encoding and decoding algorithms play a vital role to achieve the whole system. In this paper, based on the detailed Turbo encoding and decoding algorithms in LTE system, a new case developed in using PICOCHIP PC203 completes the task of Turbo hardware implementation and achieves good performance.
